Hazen, Margaret S. (Trepania) 1840-1932

HAZEN, TREPANIA, SLOAN, BEPPLER

Mrs. Winnifred Hazen-Sloan and sister, Mrs. Anna Hazen-Beppler of Sioux City, were here Friday bringing the remains of their mother, Mrs. Margaret Hazen, here for burial in the Luana cemetery beside their father, who was buried here in 1874. Mrs. Hazen died of old age in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Beppler, June 7th, aged ninety-two years.

Notes:
-Iowa Death Certificate gives Margaret's maiden name as Trepania, DOB 3/16/1840, born Montreal, Canada. First name of father & mother's name not given.
-Her husband, Bryant Hazen, died 9/22/1874, buried in the Luana cemetery. He died at age 35y.
