Clayton County Register, Thur., 25 Apr. 1929.

The remains of George Korte, a former resident of McGregor and also of Elkader were brought to McGregor last Saturday night, accompanied by Mrs. Korte and two sons. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church Sunday morning and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery there.

Mr. Korte was employed as legal advisor for the Chicago, Milwaukee and Puget Sound Railroad Co., at Seattle, Wash. He is survived by his wife, a son, Norbert, of San Francisco and a son, Gregory, of New York.
