Clayton County Register, Thur., 28 Mar. 1929. Luana column.
Our old friend and neighbor,
Mrs. Mary Henderson, was laid to rest in the Luana cemetery Sunday afternoon. For about forty-five years she has been a familiar character in our town. She, with her husband, Frank Henderson, had charge of our hotel until his death thirty-four years ago. Since then Mrs. Henderson carried on with the work until her strength failed her last May. She was born at Mount Hope, Wis., Dec. 2, seventy-one years ago. She was the third of four Glasier sisters, Mrs. Ellen Mowry, of Lynxville, Wis.; Mrs. Elizabeth Hardin, of Monona; Mrs. Emma Ferguson, of San Diego, Calif. She leaves two sons, Frank, of New Hampton and Ray, of Denver, Colo., who with their wives and one granddaughter, Mila Mae Henderson, mourn her passing.
