Arlene was the wife of David Davis Vickery, born 27 January 1911 in Allamakee County, Iowa, son of John Henry Vickery and Lydia Jane Fish. His name has also appeared as Davis David Vickery. He died in Bloomington,Illinois on 1 February 1993. He is buried with his wife at the Garnavillo Community Cemetery, in Garnavillo, Iowa. Arlene and David married in Dubuque, Iowa on 26 February 1936.
