Mrs. H. Donahue passed away Saturday morning after two weeks suffering from the affects of the "flu" which left her with a weak heart. Funeral services were held in Mederville Monday at 10 o'clock and she was laid to rest in the Stalnaker cemetery.

Added by S. Ferrall on 6/12/2024:Margaret E. Bryan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bryan was born March 11th, 1855 in Williamsburg, Pa., and died at her home in Mederville April 11th, 1925.
October 27th, 1875 she was united in marriage to Henry Donahe at Edwardsburg, Michigan. To this union eight children were born, four of whom are dead. The surviving ones are Mrs. Clarence Alderson of Strawberry Point, Iowa; Mrs. Jessie Bower, Mrs. Rose Bower and Mrs. Mertie Koerner all of Waterloo, Iowa. These, with the husband, three sisters, one brother and numerous other relatives mourn for her.
Mr. and Mrs. Donahe resided in Michigan two years after their marriage, coming to Lodomillo township and locating on a farm in 1877. In 1909 they moved to Mederville where they have since made their home.
Funeral service were held at the home Monday April 13th, conducted by Rev. Turner of Strawberry Point. Burial was made in the Noble cemetery near Edgewood.
