Elkader register, Thur., 08 Jan. 1925. Strawberry Point column.

Mrs. J. Malone received word last week that her brother, Charles Wiltse formerly of this place, had passed away at the home of his daughter Mrs. Leta Dillon at Eugene, Ore. The remains were placed in the receiving vault and later will be shipped here for interment in the family lot in the local cemetery.

Note: cemetery records indicate he died in December 1924
