The death of Mrs. E. R. Coats, aged 65 years, occurred at her home northeast of town Christmas morning. The remains were brought to the Franklin Undertaking parlors where they remained until Saturday where short services were conducted by Rev. Maxwell of the Congregational church after which the remains were taken to Delhi, her old home, for interment.
