Elkader Register, Fri. morning, 10 Sept. 1897. Local Grab Bag columns.

Rudolph Minger, a prominent business man and a member of Co. D., 27th Iowa Inf., died at his home in Guttenberg on Friday last, in his 56th year. He leaves a wife and two children, Mrs. Gus. Beutel and Mrs. Wm. Kords, besides a host of friends to mourn his loss. The funeral was held Monday under the auspices of the G.A.R., and was largely attended.
