Elkader Register, Fri. morning, 28 May 1897. Garnavillo column.
Died at the home of Louis Meyer, Friday, the aged mother, who has been a great sufferer for many months. Funeral services were held at Lutheran church Monday, Rev. Sommerlad officiating. She leaves two sons, two daughters and large circle of friends.
