Elkader Register, Fri. morning, 23 Apr. 1897. McGregor column.

Mrs. Wm Ostrander, aged 40 years, died Saturday, and the funeral was held in the M.E. church at Northtown Monday, Rev. J. W. McCord officiating. She was the mother of Mrs. G. W. Bremer, and leaves several other children and her husband to mourn her death.
