Orva Parks received a telegram Monday conveying the sad news of the death of his father, John Park, in the Soldier's Home at Leavenworth, Kans., Sunday morning. Mr. Park was sent from here to the home about four weeks ago. He was about 69 years of age, and a member of an Ohio regiment during the Civil War.
