Arlington--Doyle Ivan Hulbert, 9517 East Dunkerton Road, Dunkerton, died at Oelwein Care Center Thursday morning. He was 69.

Mr. Hulbert was a longtime Arlington resident having operated Hulbert Plumbing and Heating for 20 years before retiring in 1983. He had been a resident of Dunkerton the past five years and was a member of the Barclay Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 14, [1990] at 11 a.m. at the Kerns-Jamison Funeral Home, Arlington, with the Rev. Howard Dukelow officiating. Burial will be in Taylorsville Cemetery, Arlington.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, Friday, at the Kerns-Jamison Funeral Home in Arlington.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerle [nee Bigelow], Dunkerton; a son, Rodney Hulbert, Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Paula Thomas, Dunkerton; a granddaughter, and a brother, Glen (Bud) Hulbert, Verdi Valley, Ariz. also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Elizabeth Homan Hulbert. He was born May 18, 1921 in Elkader.
