Elkader Register, Thur., 26 Apr. 1900. McGregor column.

Mrs. Burton Annis, born Celia Berry, died at her home in North McGregor, Thursday night, leaving a so three weeks old. Her husband and parents, sisters and brothers, have the sympathy of all in their sore distress. The funeral was held Sunday morning, Father McCarthy of Richland Center, Wis., officiating, assisted by Father O'Donnell.

d/o John & Bridget (Shortell) Berry of Waukon, IA; died a month after giving birth to a son; funeral at St. Mary's in McGregor; Clayton Co. Death Record gives burial in McGregor; a memorial on Find a Grave has a photo of a gravestone for her in St. Gabriel cemetery, Prairie du Chien, WI. Her parents gravestones are also in that cemetery.
