Aunt Marcie Lyons died at the home of G. H. Scofield, in her 9_th (looks like 94th) year. She came here three years ago from Michigan, and has made it her home mostly with Mr. Scofield. She was an earnest member of the M.E. church. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Gibbons, assisted by Rev. Bean.

Buried in Strawberry Point cemetery. The DOD engraved on her stone is 2/22/1899, which is incorrect unless her death was reported in the paper a year after her death.
