Mrs. Maggie Curtin died at her home in Minneapolis and the remains were brought here for burial in the Catholic cemetery Tuesday. She was formerly Maggie Maloney and her parents both lost their lives in the dreadful Bloody Run flood.

John Korte received [a] message Monday to have livery rigs at the depot Tuesday to meet the funeral of Mrs. Thomas Curtain, nee Maloney. Mrs. Curtain died in Minnesota Jan. 28, and was buried here yesterday, Walter Bros. having charge of the funeral.
Mrs. Curtain will be remembered by many here, she having lost her parents in the awful flood at North McGregor. Her husband Thomas Curtain and brother Martin Maloney of Minneapolis, Joe and Dan Curtain of St. Paul were in attendance.
