The death of A. W. Gleason, aged 91 years, 6 months and 7 days, occurred last Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. E. Bartlett. Old age was the cause of his death. In his younger days Mr. Gleason like a great many of our old settlers endured hardships by working early and late. Funeral services occurred at the Bartlett home Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Maxwell pastor of the Congregational church, under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge. Interment was made in our beautiful cemetery beside his loved ones. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. E. E. Bartles and Mrs. Lee Wing of this place.
