The death of Tillman Duncan, an old resident of this place occurred at his home last Saturday afternoon. He spent most of his entire life in this vicinity. He like a great many pioneers have lived to see great pieces of timberland change into prosperous farms. He was an honest, upright man whose friends were counted by his acquaintances. His wife passed away Dec. 12th, 1921, and since that time he has been cared for by his children. Funeral services occurred at the M.E. church Tuesday afternoon conducted by the pastor, Rev. Kirbry, after which the remains were laid to rest in our beautiful cemetery. He leaves several children, grandchildren and other relatives to mourn his death.
