Penneton, Joseph E. 1870 - 1922

Elkader Register, Thur., 02 Feb. 1922.

At the Glawe hospital in this city occurred the death of Joseph E. Penneton last Friday evening at 11:00 o'clock at the age of 5_ years, 5 months and 25 days. Mr. Penneton was born August 2nd, 1870, and was engaged in farming up until last summer, when he moved to town here. The funeral was held at St. Joseph's church Wednesday forenoon Father Taken officiating and the body was laid to rest in St. Joseph's cemetery. He is survived by his wife and two children. Our sympathy goes out to the sorrowing family.
