Clayton County Register, Thur., 23 Feb. 1933. McGregor column.

Mrs. Walter Davies, 60, passed away at St. Francis Hospital at La Crosse, Tuesday, following an operation.

Mrs. Davies, nee Elma Haymond, was born at Winterset, Iowa, January 22, 1873. In September, 1898, she was married to Walter Davies and they moved to the Davies farm near McGregor, where they lived till they came to McGregor, 14 years ago. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church Thursday afternoon. The deceased is survived by her husband, four brothers and two sisters.
