Clayton County Register, Thur., 16 Feb. 1933.
Mrs. Wilhelmina Meenan (nee Willie) died Tuesday, February 7 at the home of her son, Ferdinand, at the age of 65 years, ten months and 26 days, following an illness of six weeks.
Wilhelmina Wille was born in Volga township, near Elkport, Mar. 11, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Willie. December 9, 1886, she was married to John Meenan and lived on the farm now occupied by son Geo. This was her home until the death of her husband, June 26, 1918, since which time she has been making her home with her children, the last nine with her son Ferdinand.
This union was blessed with five children, Anna, Ferdinand, Margaret and the twins, George and Ernstena. Last December she was stricken with paralysis and this attack left her partly helpless, though at times she seemed to get stronger.
She leaves to mourn her departure her children: Mrs. Anna Tackman, Ferdinand Meenan, Mrs. Margaret Tackman, George Meenan, Mrs. Ernstena Funk; six grandchildren; and four sisters Mrs. Etta Rodas, Mrs. Paulina Beeh, Mrs. Emma Waterman and Mrs. Tille Waterman.
