Funeral services for Mrs. James A. Welsh who paased away Saturday evening at ten o'clock at Oelwein, after an illness of several years duration, were held Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's church.

Mrs. Welsch was born December 4, 1867, at Strawberry Point, Iowa. Eight years ago she was united in marriage to J. A. Welsch and since that time has made her home in Oelwein.

Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. J. M. Henry of Greeley, Ia.; Sister Mary Luella of Boulder, Colo.; Mrs. Ed. Rhines of Minneapolis; D. J. Ivory of Strawberry Point; and Will Ivory of Oelwein.

Interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery, here.

(Note: The IGPP shows the dual gravestone of James A. Welch, 01-13-1869 / 04-15-1938, and his wife, Alice Ivory, 03-12-1867 / 31-12-1927.
