Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 01 Sept. 1910.

Mary Stromme was born at Waterville, Allamakee county, Iowa, and at the age of five years moved to Clayton county and has resided here since. She suffered severely the past year and death releived her of suffering on Wednesday, August 24, at the family home in Boardman township.

Funeral services were held at the Norway church in Wagner township on Friday, August 26th, Rev. Franke, of Elkader, and Rev. Arveson, of St. Olaf, conducted short services in English and Norwegian, at the residence and church. May her soul rest in peace.
