Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 14 Jul. 1910. Local News columns.
That dread scourge, tuberculosis, added one more to its long list of victims this morning when death claimed Mrs. Frank Munger.
Anna Larson was born near Wadena Feb. 3rd, 1881, the daughter of Ole Larson, and grew to womanhood in this section.
July 16th, 1906, she was married to Frank A. Munger, and since then they have lived at Lanesboro, Minn., where he was employed, until about two weeks ago, when they came here in hopes that the change might benefit her.
A little daughter, Gladys Goldie, about three years old was the light of their home and will help soften the blow to the young husband.
Mrs. Munger's father and one sister, Mrs. Bert Jennings, live at Wadena; one brother, Leonard, is in Montana, and another, Ole, is in Iroquois, S.D. Her mother, one brother and a sister preceded her to the other shore.
The funeral will be held Saturday in the German church at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Franke officiating. Interment will be in the East Side cemetery.
The deepest sympathy of the community goes out to the young husband whose bright hopes for life have so soon turned to ashes, and the little one who will miss her mother's loving care.
