The funeral services of Mrs. Frank Eberhardt were held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Hudson on Friday afternoon at two o'clock and were conducted by Rev. K. W. Braun, pastor of St. Paul's church. Interment was made in the city cemetery.
Lucy Hudson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hudson, was born in Garnavillo on Dec. 12th, 1878. She received her education in the public school of this place and graduated with the class of 1895. After her graduation she taught the Buck Creek school for two years.
On October 20, 1897, she was united in marriage to Frank Eberhardt, of Elkader. They took up their residence in Oelwein, where they remained until the following March, going from there to Prairie du Sac, Wis., which has since been their home. About two weeks ago she came here to visit with home folks and while at the J. W. Hudek home she was taken seriously ill, death resulting.
The deceased is survived by her husband and daughter, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hudson, and two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Hudek, of this place, and Mrs. Chas. Kuebler, of Viroqua, Wis.
