DIED - At Volga, August 18, 1895, occurred the death of Wm. N. Dill of typhoid fever. Deceased was born in Canada, April 12, 1822, and on January 19, 1848, was married to Orvilla Chapman, of this place.
Mr. Dill is an old settler and soldier as he served his country in the 7th Iowa cavalry.
He leaves a wife and six children, having been in poor health for a long time so death came not unexpected.
He was a respected citizen, quiet and peaceable in disposition, and will be missed by those who associated with him.
The funeral occurred Monday at the house under charge of the G.A.R.

Mr. Dill, one of the oldest settlers of Sperry township, died Sunday morning, funeral services conducted by the G.A.R. Post of which he was a member, Monday at two o'clock p.m.
