Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 21 May 1914. Local News columns.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Martin on Tuesday, May 12th, but did not survive this world long. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. C. H. Franke, were held Sunday and the remains taken to Volga for interment. The bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of all.
