While not totally unexpected the passing away on last Saturday morning of Albert T. Little brought sorrow only not to the immediate relatives but to many homes where he was known for these many years.
Another one of the Soldiers of 1861 has fought his fight and answered the roll call. Capt. Little, as he was familiarly known, was a man highly known and respected by all who knew him.
The cause of his death was due to old age and during the past few years of his life he was given the best of care by his devoted son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Little.
Nothing more for Thee can we do;
But to scatter flowers over you,
And learn to trust Christ and He alone,
Then we'll meet where no death is known.Funeral services were held at his home this afternoon (Tuesday). He leaves his wife three daughters and son to mourn his death, Mrs. Cora Ross of Oelwein, Mrs. Ophelia Kinniburgh of Waterloo and Mrs. Carrie Roberts and Harry Little of this place. Interment took place in the faily lot in our beautiful cemetery.
