The same date{23rd} at Mederville, the bodv of a man named Henry Kumpal, the village blacksmith, was found hanging in his attic with life departed although the body was still warm when found. In this case, drink and a tendency to brood over other troubles, was the cause of his rash act. He was a man of generally jovial humor, a good companion and accommodating workman. Why a man of family chooses to lay such a burden upon those who survive is not easily comprehensible.
