Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 01 Oct. 1908. Farmersburg column.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mathews mourn the death of their infant daughter, which occurred Wednesday afternoon, September 24th, at the tender age of two weeks. Short funeral services were held at the house Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, Rev. Gadow officiating. The family has the sympathy of all in their bereavement. Burial in the Farmersburg cemetery.
