Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 06 Aug. 1908. Local News columns.

The body of Charles Kenyon, of Millville, who was drowned near Alberta, Canada, July 5, was not brought back for burial, as the condition of the body would not permit its removal. The drowning occurred while the unfortunate man was returning in a boat with a party of friends, who had been picnicking. One of the men named Magin rocked the boat capsizing the craft. In the effort to swim to the main land several hundred feet distant, Magin and Kenyon sank. - Dyersville Commercial.
