Tor thirty years Martin Garber was one of the best known and most influential citizens of Clayton county. He was Swiss born and had many of the good qualities that blood carries. In 1892 he became an Oklahoma boomer, although well past sixty years of age, and established a town that bears his name, News comes of his death on the 24th ult. aged 74 years. Every person who knew him respected his manly worth.
