Maria Maibauer.

On last Thursday at Waterloo, where she had gone for medical treatment, occurred the death of Mrs. Maria Maibauer, of Guttenberg, after suffering for some time cancer. The body was brought to Guttenberg for burial Friday. Funeral services were held at St. John’s Lutheran Church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Janzig officiating. Interment was made in the City Cemetery. Her death is deeply mourned by three daughters, one son and a number of relatives and friends, by whom she will be sadly missed, as she was a kind and true mother and friend and was a faithful member of the Lutheran church. Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago. She was a patient sufferer, and all that loving hands could do and medical knowledge could suggest to ward off death was done for her, but all to no avail. The funeral was largely attended. We are without further particulars.
