Word was received here that John Cummings of Fargo, N.D., died yesterday (Wednesday) and that his remains will be brought here for burial.

Through some oversight the obituary of John B. Cummings was omitted last week. John B. Cummings was born July 1, 1853, at the old home in Sperry township. He was married to Margaret Aldrich in 1872. He died at Fargo, June 16, 1908, aged 54 years 11 months and 14 days. He leaves a wife, eight children, two brothers and two sisters to mourn his loss. The body was brought to Volga, Saturday, and the funeral held at the M.E. church, Sunday afternoon, burial in Volga cemetery.
