Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 21 May 1908. Strawberry Point column.

Tuesday afternoon from the Q. A. Bowers home in this city occurred the funeral of Mrs. Lois Lillian Warren Truair, Rev. Edward S. Guilbert, of the Methodist church being in charge. Mrs. Truair passed away at 2:45 Sunday, May 10th. Deceased was born in Massachusetts March 27th, 1818, and was married Sept 17, 1837, to Lorman Truair. with her husband and family she came to Strawberry Point in 1855. To them were born twelve children, six of whom survive. She was one of the most aged residents of this community and came to Iowa in the early pioneer days. She was laid to rest in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
