Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 09 Apr. 1908. Osborne column.

Monday night about 10:00 o'clock occurred the death of Rosa, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Reilly, of inflammatory rheumatism. She had been a sufferer for several months and for the last few weeks her friends thought she was gaining and would soon be well again, but on Sunday she took a very bad spell and grew worse until the end came. We extend our sympathy to the family. The funeral took place Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

(Note: WPA records show Rosa M. Reilly, 1890 - 1908, buried in St. Joseph's cemetery. The IGPP shows her gravestone as Rose Reilly, 1895 - 1908, also in St. Joseph's cemetery. Which entry is correct is unknown by this submitter.)
