GUTTENBERG, Iowa - Ardith (Hempeler) Anderegg, 63, of Guttenberg, died Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, with the Rev. Harold McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Guttenberg City Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to

8 p.m. Sunday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 207 S. 1st, Guttenberg.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1944, in McGregor, daughter of Arlyn and Lena (Stickfort) Hempeler.

She graduated from the Garnavillo High School in 1962. On June 10, 1967, she was united in marriage to Roger Anderegg at St. Peters Church in Garnavillo. She was a homemaker for many years. She also worked for the Garnavillo Savings Bank.

Ardith was a member of TOPS and Sara Circle. She was chairman of the WELCA board and a lifelong member of 4-H.

She enjoyed being involved with the fair, bowling, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.

She will be remembered by her husband Roger; a daughter, Donna (David) Schuster; and a son, Mark Anderegg; two grandchildren, Collin and Connor; her mother, Lena Hempeler; three sisters, Arlene Ries, of Rock Island, Ill., Audrey (Russell) Haught, of Iowa City, and Ann (Dan) Walther, of Garnavillo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arlyn; and two brothers, Aaron and Allen.
