Richard Nelson, who resides on the Newberry farm, passed away at his home last Thursday, death probably being caused from an overdose of sleeping potion. Mr. Nelson was born in Sweden forty-eight years ago and came here when a mere child. Besides his wife, six sons and four daughters he leaves two brothers, one residing at Sycamore, Ill., and one at Moline, Ill. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. Jahr. Interment took place in the local cemetery. The sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved ones.
