Clayton County Journal, 25 Aug. 1886.
Died at the residence of Henry Ehrlich in Elkader, Sunday August 21, 1886, of cholera infantum, Susie, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lou' Ehrlich. The death of little Susie is a sad blow to her parents. Their home is in Bellevue, and they were visiting friends here when their baby was attacked by that disease, so much dreaded by mothers, because it is so fatal to children. The sincere and heartfelt sympathy of our people will go out to them in their sore bereavement. The funeral occurred at 1 o'clock Monday.
