John H. Ellsworth, one of our most prominent citizens, died last Friday morning, after years of suffering from tuberculosis. The remains were taken to Southampton, Long Island, N.Y., for interment. He was seventy years of age and has lived here over forty years, having been the president of Huntting Elevator Co. the past twenty years. Mrs. Ellsworth survives him. His niece, Mrs. Mame Weston, of Chicago, and Mrs. Amie Cowles, of Minneapolis, were here for the funeral. His nephews, Chas. E. Huntting, of Minneapolis, and Will Huntting, of Cresco, accompanied the remains east.
