Elizabeth Julia Lamparter was born on a farm near Arlington, February 1, 18_4. She made her home with her parents there till her marriage in 1903 to Henry Tucker. To this union were born three children, Ralph, William and Clarence, who survive her, as do her husband and her mother, Mrs. Mary Lamparter, and brothers and sisters as follows: Mrs. Frank Stewart, of Waterloo, Ia.; Henry Lamparter, of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. John Minzer, of Burt, Ia.; Mrs. Wm. Haines and Mrs. Wm. Blake, of Strawberry Point, Ia.; Mrs. Wm. Wilcox, of Arlington, Ia.; John Lamparter, of Germantown, Minn.; and Fred Lamparter, of Glenwood, Ia. She died May 29, 1913, in the 39th year of her life. Funeral services took place at the home Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Bradford. Burial took place in Strawberry Point Cemetery.
