Elkader Register, Thur., 18 July 1907. Elkport and Vicinity column.

Mrs. Phillip Quinlan died at her home near Communia, Monday night about 11:00 o'clock. Deceased was 77 years old and was one of the pioneer settlers of Clayton county. The funeral was held from St. Michael's church, Thursday, and was largely attended. The remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery. The many friends of the family sympathize with them in their bereavement.
