Mrs. Mary Foley died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. B. Zaph, Saturday morning, April 21, from heart trouble, after an illness of three months, aged 72 years. Deceased was a native of Ireland. After coming to America she and her husband settled on a farm in Delaware near Manchester, and where she resided for fifty years, leaving the farm two years ago to reside with a son at Galesburg, Ill., and a few months ago came here to make her residence with her daughter, Mrs. Zapf. Her husband died ten years ago this month and the surviving members of the family are three sons and two daughters, namely: Thomas, of Houston, Texas; J. P., of Galesburg, Ill.; James and Mrs. John Keogh, of LeMars, Ia.; and Mrs. A. B. Zapf, of this city. The body, accompanied by the children of deceased, was taken to Manchester, Tuesday, and interment was made Thursday afternoon. Deceased was a lifelong and devout member of the Catholic faith and the funeral services were conducted under the auspices of that church. She made her home with her daughter since March, 1906.
