We are sorry to chronical the death of Grandpa Fensterman, which occurred at his home here Wednesday morning, after an illness of several weeks. He was one of Elk township's oldest residents and will be missed by a large number of relatives and friends.

Bernard Fensterman was born in Germany the son of Herman Gerhard Fensterman 1808-1869 and Catharina " Margaretha " Von Talge Fensterman 1811-1900. He was married to Anna Elizabeth Wessel 1843-1878 and was the father to Henry Herman John Fensterman 1870-1955, Anna Maria "Mary" Fensterman 1871-1958, Frederick Herman Fensterman 1873-1947 and Anna Wilelmina 1874-1875
