Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 30 Mar. 1916. Guttenberg column.

O. H. Lake, of this city, and August Brockman, of Millville township, were at Luana Monday, where they attended the funeral of their aunt, Mrs. Becker, of that place. Deceased was past ninety years old at the time of her death and was one of Clayton County's pioneer residents.

(Note: WPA records indicate this is an apparent reference to Marie Becker, 1825 - 1916, buried in Eno cemetery.)
