The funeral of Mrs. John Musfelt took place in the Lutheran cemetery on July 5th and was largely attended by the numerous friends and relatives of the deceased. Rev. Paulson officiated and the Lutheran Church choir rendered several nice selections. Mrs. John Musfelt was born in Germany on February 17th, 1829, and came to this country at the age of 30 years. She has lived the last few years at Garber and leaves besides her husband three children: Mrs. John Brich, of Cartage, S.D., Fred Musfelt, of Klemme, Iowa, and Henry Musfelt, of Garber. Two other children, John and Anna, preceded her in death. May she rest in peace.
