On Monday morning, Jan. 16, 1911, at 12:54 o'clock, occurred the death of Mrs. A. C. Vansickle at her home on Pleasant Ridge. Mrs. Vansickle, nee Miss Margaret Ann Motheral, was born July 28th, 1862, at Keokuk, Ia., and at the age of 7 years she moved with her father and family to North McGregor. Margaret Motheral was married to A. C. Vansickle on April 30, 1890, at McGregor, Ia., by Rev. Father Carroll. To this union were born five children, John, Esther, Mary, James and Theodore. Two survive, Ester and James, who with their father, mourn the loss of a beloved wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, a brother John, a sister Agnes and a Sister of Charity, Sister Mary Palemon. The funeral services were held at St. Mary's church, McGregor, Wednesday morning at 10:00, Rev. Father Dowling officiating. Interment in the Catholic cemetery.
