Elkader Register, Thur., 15 July 1926.

Gurine Herbranson was born February 27, 1847, at Koshkonong, Rock county, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Ole and Sigri Herbranson. She moved to Clayton county, Iowa, with her parents in 1849. She died June 29, 1926. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services were held in the Norway church Friday afternoon, July 2, and interment was made in the Norway church cemetery, Rev. Tysdal officiating. She leaves to mourn her departure one brother, four sisters and other relatives and friends.
