Clarence Henry Stahl was born in Cox Creek township, March 21, 1896, and died in the Lincoln Hospital, Lincoln, New Hampshire, Nov. 30, 1918, aged 22 years. He was taken sick with the influenza and wrote that he was ill but was feeling better, and then they got word of his death which was due to pneumonia.
Deceased was the son of August and Louisa Stahl of Cox Creek township, and lived there all his life until May 26, when he was called to the service of his country, leaving here for Camp Dodge. He was home for a short furlough in August.
He leaves to mourn his untimely departure, his father and mother, and one sister, Velma at home, and one brother Lester, also at home.
