Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Phillips, who died at her home here Friday morning, were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the home. Rev. A. B. Chamberlain of Arlington, pastor of the M.E. church, officiated. Interment was made in Hillcrest cemetery.
The casket was borne by Emmet Thyne, Wm. Wenger, L. J. Tenny, H. L. Taylor, Jack Conboy and E. S. Clarke. Members of the Entre Nous club acted as honorary pallbearers.
She is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. G. Randolph of West Union; one brother, Ed. Smith of this place. One brother, George, preceded her in death a number of years ago.
The following out-of-town relatives and friends attended the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Will Conboy, West Union; Mr. and Mrs. Clint Kinney, Mason City; Will King and Walter Little, Arlington; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Shambaugh, L. D. Shambaugh, Kansas City, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Younkman, Elkport; Arthur and Sherwood Phillips, Arlington.
