Mrs. Ida L. Hughes, a sister of the late Harry A. Delahooke of Beulah, died Thursday night in the home of Miss Emma Ziegler who has been caring for her the last few months. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Ziegler apartment, the Rev. L. H. Joslin officiating with burial in the Giard cemetery. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. T. W. Hills of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. O. B. Bona (may also be Bond) of San Diego, Calif., a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ida Delahooke, the widow of H. A. Delahooke, and a number of nieces and nephews. For many years Mrs. Hughes lived with Mrs. Augusta Wiegand, later living with Mrs. Delahooke at Giard, then moving to Monona where Miss Emma Ziegler cared for her. Mrs. Hughes was an unusually pleasant woman, having a smile for all she met. She was honest and industrious, a good neighbor and friend to all.
